Green Globe : an assessment of the sustainability performance of travel and tourism businesses.

 

Fairtrade : a movement for change that works directly with businesses, consumers and campaigners to make trade deliver for farmers and workers.

AB (Agriculture Biologique) Label : is a French label which concerns ecological food and products.

 

Earthcheck : established in 70 countries, this system, called EC3 Global developed the Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre (STCRC) out of Australia. It is a benchmarking and certification program and has an exclusive license to certify under the Green Globe brand.

 

 

Eu Ecolabel : is the only european ecological official label.

 

 

 

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) : promotes environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economically prosperous management of the world’s forests. 

 

 

 

 

EU Organic Products : indicates that the product has been grown within sustainable cultivation systems.

 

Global Organic Textile Standard : is recognised as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres.

 

ISO 14001 awards  environmental entreprise management.

 

 

 

Marine Stewardship Council : fight against overfishing

 

 

 

The Blue Flag program works to certify beaches and marinas through strict criteria dealing with water quality, environmental education and information, environmental management, and safety and other services.

TCO Certified : is available for eight product categories and is used by purchasing organizations all over the world. More than 2,800 products are currently certified. 

 

 

 

 

Agir Pour un Tourisme Responsable (ATR) : partnership, consistency and transparency are the three axes of this label. 

 

EKOenergy : the international ecolabel for sustainable renewable energy.

 

 

A.I.S.E (International Association for Soaps,
Detergents and Maintenance Products): promotes and shapes a favourable operating framework. 

It permits to develop rural tourism, promoting eco-friendly travel respectful of local populations. 

 

 

 

BIO Hotels Certification : it covers organic and regional products in Hotels.

 

 

Forest Garden Products Label : works for preservation of biodiversity and ecosystems.

 

 

 

 

 

LEED Certification : is a green building rating system.

VAKINN : the official quality and environmental system in Icelandic tourism run by the Icelandic Tourist Board.

 

 

Eco Certification Australia : is the first national program of the world which can accredited companies.
