I went in Belgium in 2017 to work with the association Brussels Sightjogging. I stay in Brussels, the city where the famous BD character Tintin bought his unicorn ship.
My mission was to help the association to do a market research about the « sightjogging » tours in Brussels (to discover the city with a guide by jogging) and also about the global tourism which was impacted by terrorist attacks in Belgium and Europe. I have participated to sightjogging tours as a client and I really enjoy that way for discovering the capital. It is an ecological way to visit a new city and a cheapest one also.
You have different parks for jogging in the city and around : Josaphat Park and the Royal Park for example.
In Bruges, you will definitly find a « charming canal atmosphere » but also a lot of tourists… I prefered Gent, its cobbled streets and its castle.
In Namur you will find the Citadell and the golden Turtle.
In Gent, you will find an old castle of stones, nice with friends or family !
In Leuven, just try to enjoy the authentic Dutch architecture.
